We have previously reported on the Nissan GT-R Nismo, but just to recap, it develops 435 kW and 800 N.m. These numbers are enough to dash from standstill to 100 km/h in well under 3,0 seconds.
Think GT-R Nismo, and we all remember that Nürburgring lap time of 7:08,679 seconds. A time, which according to Nissan, is the fastest for a volume production car. However, that car was actually not a standard GT-R Nismo, but a Nismo fitted with the optional N-Attack Package that will soon become available to clients.
This package includes a few important upgrades over the standard Nismo car. On each corner will be a four-way adjustable Öhlins damper, a slight overall weight reduction, a front limited-slip differential, a carbon plate rear limited-slip differential, an updated engine and traction control management system and finally some aerodynamic changes including that rear wing. The interior features Recaro bucket seats with a carbon shell, a rear carbon bulkhead and a rear seat finisher.
A spokesperson for Nissan South Africa couldn’t confirm if the GT-R Nismo will be heading to our shores. However, it was made clear that a decision will be made in the coming month or two.
