Preview: Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV Concept-S

Mitsubishi has leaked some teaser images of their plug-in hybrid concept scheduled for unveiling at next month’s 2014 Paris Motor.

Called the Outlander PHEV Concept-S, it’s based on the first Outlander PHEV they unveiled at the 2013 Paris show. Its plug-in hybrid drivetrain is a 2,0-litre four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors and Mitsubishi says the concept’s advanced drivetrain ensures it offers “soothing silent running” and “superior on-road performance”.

The engine aside, the concept’s styling also hints at what we can expect from the next-generation Outlander…
