Volvo has lifted the wraps off its V60 Cross Country ahead of its official debut at the LA Motor Show this month.
“We are delighted to add the third true Cross Country model to our product portfolio. The successful combination of dynamic styling and rugged capability places the Volvo V60 Cross Country in a class of its own,” said Lex Kerssemakers, Senior Vice President Product Strategy and Vehicle Line Management at Volvo Cars.
The V60’s Cross Country treatment ushers in an additional 65 mm of ground clearance over its standard stable mate, front and rear scuff plates, bumper extensions and a choice of model-specific 18- and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Among the interior highlights are black leather sports seats with brown stitching, as well as a choice of two new two-tone leather upholstery options.
Two models will find their way to SA during the second half of 2015; the 187 kW T5 turbopetrol and the 140 kW D4 turbodiesel, both of which will be coupled with automatic transmissions.
Further details regarding local pricing and specification will be confirmed closer to next year’s launch.
