Judging by these pictures from , the RS carries the same base shape reminding you that it is in fact an Audi TT, but with a far more aggressive body kit. More exterior styling queues shows some serious frontal air intakes, twin oval exhausts and 18” aluminium wheels. Inside will be true RS design, the cabin retaining its Audi metallic-theme incorporating aluminium air vents against the black dashboard. Alcantara/leather sports seats with special silver stitching reiterate the performance vorsprung.
The RS’s power comes from a direct injection 2,5 litre, 5 cylinder TFSI engine that delivers a whopping 253 kW and 450 N.m of torque! Mated with a 6-speed box this will be one of the most fuel efficient sportscar set-ups on the market, (under 10 litres/100km) there shall be no lack in performance as the RS flashes past 100 km/h in 4,5 sec. Audi’s all-wheel-drive system secures dynamic handling and is expected to have a rear-wheel bias.
The RS version of the TT will also be available as either coupe or roadster.
